MIT Treepedia uses Google Street View's panoramas to accurately determine the extent of a city's "green canopy" of trees. Only ten cities have been completed so far, but many more are planned. I imagine that when their computer bot eventually reaches Stoke, it'll spring a sprocket over how many mature trees we have here.
